Baseboards Can Cause Mold Damage
When there is a water loss in a home or facility we always make sure to remove the baseboards along a wall to help with the drying process. Most DIY restoration do not remove the baseboard which acts as a barrier not allowing the moisture behind to release. After as little as 24 hours mold can appear between the baseboard and the wall as it did in the case of the first picture.
